My final entry for Stage 3 of the doodle addicts challenge! I have loved doing these challenges. They have not only got me drawing things I wouldn't have considered off my own back, but they have brought me out of my comfort zone too. Drawing steam is harder than I thought!!!
This was my submission for the Doodle Addicts ‘Doodle Caravan’ competition in 2019. Some real world characters also made it in there. Try and spot Kerby Rosanes, Mr. Doodle and Mr. Bingo!

I started this with the Doodle Addicts Pre/post quarantine diptych drawing challenge in mind, but I didn't make the deadline (I started it on the day of the deadline, so it was a little ambitious!). The first half of the drawing represents before the corona virus and the second half is after the virus and kind of living with it. No pencil, just straight into the drawing with ink. It's rough, but I like how it turned out and there are some fun characters.
Im Kurt and new to Doodle Addicts. Loneliness and anxiety dominate my life and are reoccurring themes in my art. It wasn't until recently, after countless jobs, countless attempts, and thousands of dollars in school debt, that I realized it is what it is. At this point, I am trying to learn how to express myself through art and build a community without the pain from before. Here's the original description for the submission: Future you calling is a group that mixes electronic pop and rock with some vintage and retro vibes thrown in the mix. To Whom It May Concern is their newest album. It's like that strange record that you once found on the slightly shady flea market that closed down after one month. You wish you had bought it back then, so now is your chance to repair the damage and get this album instead. It's almost the same. We promise. (Future you calling is an invented band. I'm not musically skilled enough to make the band reality but I can always imagine how their albums would look like if existed. So I guess I had a Doodle addicts account!? Well I'm going to give it a whirl and see how it goes. He is my sample of my art. This is a portrait I drew of myself. Yes my forehead is that big lol.
I saw someone else on Doodle Addicts doing really great bookmarks and I remembered that last winter, when I couldn't seem to do anything else creative, I made a bunch of bookmarks. It's a way of trying out things, and using fun media like these glitter pens I inherited.
This is the third post so far on Doodle Addicts....and i'm really enjoying this site so far. I'm thinking about starting to post some creatures as well as these landscape type doodles. Tell me what you think! I would greatly appreciate any feedback on my art, comments, tips, etc.
I never knew doodle bombing was a thing until I joined Doodle Addicts. I recently got Sketchbook for iPad. Started playing with the photo import feature and began doodling over the image. I picked a photo that would make me happy every time I opened the file.
This is the first work conceptualized and created by Katrina Greidanus in the Anime character design project in the famous Anime Studio and I used PaintTool SAI to be able to create it and then I published it on Doodle Addicts on February 25, 2022 as a souvenir.
